The Coton de Tuléar is still a rare breed in the U.S. and Canada . We support continued breeder and owner education and the promotion of responsible dog ownership to help safeguard the future of the breed. We strongly support Coton Rescue and publish the annual Coton Calendar for UCARE. We founded the International Coton Breeders Forum on the Internet, publish American Coton Magazine and endorse the American Coton Club.
Maison des Cotons offers: * Beautiful, lively and healthy home raised puppies from Champion lines . We do not have a kennel; all our dogs live with us in the home, have the full run of the house and yard, and go on excursions every day. * Well socialized puppies: handled many times a day, played with by all our dogs and humans, and exposed to a variety of environments and social situations. * A contract which guarantees the puppies to be healthy and of excellent temperament. Our goal is to place our puppies in homes which offer an optimum environment. * Continued help and involvement as needed and requested. We provide a 60 page puppy manual and offer advice on grooming, exercise, diet, and socialization.
Most of our Cotons are certified Canine Good Citizens (CGC). We have not completed the training courses with all. All our Cotons receive regular health examinations. They have had complete blood tests, orthopedic exams, and eye health is certified by the Canine Eye Research Foundation.
Most of our Cotons are registered with ACC, CTCA, USACTC and FORB. All are registered with ACC. In addition, CoCo is also registered with ACTA and Cesar is also registered with ACTA, SKC and FCI.
